Always Give More Than Expected

Have you ever had the experience, for example, of buying dog food and getting a coupon or a small toy in one of the stores, and even the salespeople were very nice?

While in the other store you only got the dog food for your money and even the salespeople were not in a good mood? You probably thought, well, that’s life. It’s not, though.

What do you think, is it possible to do this consciously? Can this be developed?

How exchange works in life

Image

Of course, it can be developed. What’s more, successful entrepreneurs use this consciously to give more than what customers expect. This is called abundant exchange.

You might ask, what else is there when you only get what you paid for. We call these states of exchange. And 4 exchange states are known. But first, let’s see what an exchange is.

Exchange is giving and receiving; mutual value transfer between at least two persons, groups, units. Sending and receiving thoughts, data, goods, products, services, money, values back and forth.

Now let’s take a look at the 4 exchanges separately to see exactly which one covers what.

First is the criminal status

This occurs when a person or group collects the money or takes the money but does not give anything for it. It does not provide anything in return. That is, your money will be stolen.

As an example, we could include actions such as when someone robs someone, or when someone goes to their workplace but does nothing, does not do their job, or does their job completely badly. Or someone steals something from the store or from their workplace.

An example would be if someone constantly asks for favors, but never gives help in return or never gives anything for the favors. In other words, everyone should help him, but he doesn’t help anyone. You can probably give a few more examples of this exchange.

Let’s see what this kind of thinking does in the life of the individual who uses this kind of exchange. Because there are consequences to these things. If someone uses this type of exchange, he will notice that he has less and less money, less and less friends, people start to avoid him.

He finds it harder and harder to get by in life and sinks lower and lower. And if the matter escalates to theft or robbery, then he will be accompanied by constant anxiety, he will not enjoy the stolen things, because deep down he knows that he obtained them illegally.

His self-esteem is destroyed and he becomes a full-fledged criminal who is constantly afraid of when the police will catch him.Is there a way out of this? Of course. As long as you’re alive and breathing, there’s always a way out, there’s always another chance, an opportunity.

The first step is to stop this type of exchange and immediately switch to the third, but rather the fourth type of exchange.

And from then on, things start going well. Slowly at first, but after a while it will get better. If you can’t go it alone, there’s no shame in asking for help.

The second is partial status

When an individual or group collects the money, but does not completely give the goods or provide a partial service. That’s the scam.

This leads to indebtedness, as the person who collected the money accumulates more and more undelivered items and clogs the cash flow.

It seems as if he has more left over and could even sell them again, but in the long run they will not order from him again, in fact, his bad reputation will spread and sooner or later no one will order from him.

For example, you order 5 books, but you only get 3 of them, and you don’t get the missing ones later either. Or you go on a wellness weekend and you don’t get the massages you were promised, and you don’t get compensated for it.

Or you buy a kilo of potatoes, but half of them are rotten. Feel free to search for more examples of this exchange.

And what does this cause? This type of operation will only work for a while, but in the long run it will lead to the same loss of money and loss of self-esteem as the first type of exchange.

You could say that then you always just do something with this kind of exchange until it works, then you start something else.

Just try it, but you will soon realize that it is very tiring, on the one hand, because you always have to invent something new, you always have to move to a new place, you always have to start from scratch.

On the other hand, bad news can spread very quickly, so with this kind of exchange, your reputation will quickly be undermined, and no one will talk to you.

Of course, there is a way out of this as well, the same as with the first type of exchange.

The third is fair status

It’s pretty simple, you get what you pay for.

For example, if you buy a kilo of tomatoes, you get a kilo of normal, healthy tomatoes. Or you order 5 books and you get all 5 and you get the ones you ordered.

I think you can come up with countless examples of this from everyday life.

This is how normal commerce works and a large percentage of people do. With this type of exchange, you can already function well, you can run a business and you can make a living from it. It is comfortable and smooth.

But if you want more, or you want to live better than the average, or you want to expand or develop, then you have to use the fourth type of exchange.

The fourth is abundant status

Unfortunately, this type of exchange is not yet very common in today’s society, but those who really want to be successful use this exchange. Here, we give something more valuable than what the customers paid for.

And the point here is that we provide something more valuable, because that’s why customers will return to us, and not to our competitors. Of course, this includes when you give something more than what they paid for.

But if you want to be really big, then you pay attention to quality and value. Give them the “wow” experience.

For example, – although these do not necessarily belong to this category, they are a good start – you buy a fitness pass and receive a workout as a gift, or this also includes pay-one-get-two deals. People really like these “sales” and they will definitely come to you to buy.

Moreover, most people buy other things at this time. Attention can be another great value in this exchange.

People long for attention, for someone to pay attention to them, to listen to them.

For example, if you have a hairdressing salon and you operate in such a way that you write your guests one after the other, i.e. while one is sitting in the paint, you are cutting the hair of another, but the third is already waiting for her turn, then it may seem like a lot of guests, but in the long run you will not be successful.

On the other hand, if you only have one guest at a time, but you pay full attention to her, listen to her, and talk to her, you will have more and better quality guests, and you will be more successful in the long run.

There are these four kinds of exchange states. Recognize them in life and apply them. If you would like more information on this topic, click here or here.

If you want to get on the road to success or be even more successful, then by all means operate on the basis of abundant exchange.
