Did You Know Compromise Kills Relationships?

During our lives, we have to make a lot of compromises if we want to be successful. But we don’t always feel good about these compromises.

Is there another solution? Or do we really always have to compromise on something?

A compromise or consensus

Of course, there is another solution. There is always another solution. You just have to look for it. But first, let’s see what a compromise is.

Compromise is nothing more than a conciliatory solution, an agreement concluded by compromise, which is based on a conciliatory idea between opposing positions by omitting the contradictory parts.

That doesn’t sound encouraging, does it? In this case, you have to give up something. It’s an either-or solution. You choose either this or that.I don’t think I really need to show you that it doesn’t work in the long run. If you give up on your dreams and goals, you are essentially giving up on yourself, and this leads to sadness, depression, and apathy.

You lose your momentum, your energy. And who are you going to take this resentment and bad mood out on? Well, your relationships. On your family, friends.

The other way

Do you know how successful and wealthy people live? They don’t use either-or method. They don’t make a choice between two or more things. It is their way of thinking. I choose this and that.

You could say that it’s easy for them, because they are rich and can buy themselves anything. But let’s see how you can apply this approach to your own life and feel better and better with it.

And if you feel better about yourself, you will be more and more successful. And you will become richer and richer, whether materially, emotionally, intellectually.

This is called consensus. What is this? Consensus is an agreement among the members of a given group. Consensus usually involves cooperation rather than compromise.

Instead of one opinion being accepted by the majority, the members bring the interested parties together to negotiate until they reach a decision that points in one direction.

Let’s look at a concrete example of this:

For example, one wants to go to a lake on vacation, while the other wants to go to the mountains. The compromise would be that one year they vacation here and the next year there. Or that it’s a few days here, a few days there.

However, the consensus is that it is necessary to examine why they want to vacation where they want. One of them wants to go to the lake for the waterfront, while the other wants to go to the mountains for the fresh air. So we need a solution where both conditions are met, there is water and the air is fresh.

This is a win-win solution, i.e. a solution in which both parties prevail and are good for both parties.

So you see, it’s not that difficult to apply this to your life and everyone is doing well. It’s worth adopting this approach in all areas of your life.

I think you want to be rich and successful too.

Another Doors, Possibilities Open

How many times have we heard that you should take the opportunity because you won’t get another chance? That good opportunities only come once in our lives? But is that really the case? Maybe you’ve already felt that this statement somehow doesn’t hold up. Somehow it’s not true. And it’s also possible that you’ve experienced good opportunities in life several times.

The Importance of Community

Humans are social creatures, so they love communities. You don’t even know how much a good community means until you lose it. This was perfectly shown to us by the last covid period, when we were confined to the four walls of our homes. I think many of us have realized how important the importance of communities is in life. We need each other anyway. And not just for financial reasons.

Always Give More and More

Have you ever had the experience, for example, of buying dog food and getting a coupon or a small toy in one of the stores, and even the salespeople were very nice? While in the other store you only got the dog food for your money and even the salespeople were not in a good mood? You probably thought, well, that’s life. It’s not, though. What do you think, is it possible to do this consciously? Can this be developed?
